Planetary gearmotors allow Drive Systems to design gearbox drives with high torque but maintain a compact operating envelope.

For low speed applications, for example below 20 rpm, planetary gearmotors offer design flexibility and an alternative to the old traditional way of piggy backing multiple gearboxes together to obtain the high gear rations required for low speed applications.
